We came here for late night happy hour with a group of friends. The food & beer was great and our service was pretty good too. Only knocked it down because they sat our group at the weirdest round table in a room that was abnormally hot compared to the rest of the brewery and when we asked if we could move they said they did have any other spots open for us but it was pretty empty? Since we all were burning up we were rushing to leave but otherwise a good visit. Would probably just request to sit at the bar next time.
Enormous microbrew with very good food. The service was great. Good space for large parties. Awesome location right at the start of historic Main Street. They no longer brew beer on-site, but the building is still really impressive.
It is a cool venue, no matter what business occupies it. Shlafly beer is what it is... would have had a better review, except there was a long hair cooked with my French dip( it was under the melted cheese).🤢🤢 I threw the rest of my Togo order away.... costly mistake I won't make again.
Noah was the best. Great recommendations (except that apple) on the flights. Spent an enjoyable time in Old Towne St. Charles, Missouri. If you enjoy local brew, this is a good way to spend some time!
It was an event night. Reserved a table. 1 Hr wait. Some of us held down a few bar stools and enjoyed some drafts. The rest walked the entire street and took in the entire event. Upon their return, our wait time was somehow 1.5 hours after already being on the list an hour. 3.5 hours after our initial reservation we received the text for our table being available. While I always support and enjoy schlafly, they can do better.
Although the menu seems a bit limited, they do their dishes very well. Beer cheese soup was wonderful and the Bavarian pretzels were great too, but the Reuben sandwich was best. It comes with smoked pastrami that is to die for. It's my husband's favorite sandwich and he said it's the best he's ever had anywhere.
We had such a great time, got there during Happy Hour and it did not disappoint. No wait time and the staff was great. The souvenir gifts were very reasonable as well. It's a must see/visit place.
Carries on the tradition of the old Trailhead brewery restaurant with good bar food -- burgers, pizza, etc. in a cool setting. It's almost rustic (has a wooden canoe on the wall) without being dumpy... good blend. The service was good and food well prepared.
